V Band Clamps
V Band Clamps are used to pull together and connect two circular flanges. The resulting joint is much lighter, easier to fit and maintain and requires less space than a joint using bolted flanges. Due to their ability to wrap around the flange profile, V Band Clamps give a more consistent axial load to the joint than a rigid cast clamp for improved sealing. By taking advantage of the wide choice of clamp designs and closing mechanisms, V Band Clamps can function reliably and safely under conditions involving stress, vibration, corrosion and temperature variation. Teconnex has an extensive range of clamp profiles and manufactures V Band Clamps from 35mm to 3 metre diameter and beyond.

Ring Clamps
Originally developed as a cost-effective clamp solution for connecting automotive turbocharger casings, Ring Clamps are now used in many different applications. They offer similar benefits to V Band Clamps over other methods of connection and can be more economical both in terms of materials and methods of manufacture. Due to their inherent stiffness, they are not suitable where frequent decoupling is required or in diameters below 100mm.

Band Clamps
Band Clamps are used for clamping together two push-fit pipes. Applications include clamping flexible hoses to solid pipes, connecting sections of exhaust systems and bundling securely together groups of pipes. Teconnex Band Clamps are of a T-bolt design that offers greater strength and a reduction in component damage often associated with worm drive clips.

Pressed Clamps
The generic term Pressed Clamp is afforded to a range of clamps produced on an engineer-to-order basis by Teconnex. Each clamp is designed to a specific customer application requirement and generally requires special manufacturing tooling. The result is a clamp that is extremely cost effective per individual component once tooling costs have been covered. Teconnex has extensive application knowledge and Pressed Clamp design experience. Concept designs and prices can be quickly generated. Typical Pressed Clamp styles include Double Bolted, G Coupling, Hinged and Flexi-ring Clamp designs.

Heavy Duty and Hygienic Clamps
The Teconnex range of Heavy Duty and Hygienic Clamps are manufactured from heavy V section materials with seal welded solid lugs. This results in a product which is suitable for food, beverage and pharmaceutical applications and provides extra strength for high pressure or high piping load applications. Teconnex offers the Heavy Duty and Hygienic Clamp range with a number of different closure mechanisms, including the patented safety toggle lever for use on pressurised vessels. This safety feature prevents the inadvertent full opening of the clamp until pressure has been released.

Flexi-Joints
Flexi-Joints are a range of general purpose pipe connectors that enable approximate lengths of otherwise unfinished piping to be coupled together with the aid of just a spanner. Manufactured in electro-plated mild steel, these couplings can be equipped with seals in a range of materials suitable for coolant, mild chemical and elevated temperature (to 150 degrees C) applications. Their compact size and flexible radial positioning makes them ideal for confined and inaccessible positions. Another major benefit of Flexi-Joints is their ability to attenuate the transmission of vibration and noise along piping runs.

Ranges and styles
Teconnex clamps are offered in various ranges and styles to suit virtually any application. Closure mechanisms include conventional bolted, single and multi T-bolt, "loop couplers" for quick disengagement of the bolt and toggle levers. Teconnex has a large number of V sections to cover a wide range of diameters and applications.
